Whale sharks are gentle giants of the sea, the biggest fish in the ocean! In the Gulf of California, we find them in different places, La Paz being one of the main locations, where they gather for feeding in big numbers.
Sea Lions of the Sea of Cortez
California sea lions are found in many locations along the Gulf of California, in the Baja Peninsula. The biggest colony in the Gulf is Los Islotes, with opportunities for super fun encounters with the pups!
Sea Turtles of Baja California
Baja California is the habitat of five different sea turtle species. Some of them nest here, others swim, feed, and mate in its waters. Witness the little hatchlings start their journey or watch the green turtles relax in ship wrecks!
